A New SF Racing Title with a Metascore of 88

<Star Wars: Galactic Racer> is an SF racing game developed by Fuse Games, released on October 6. Fuse Games is a studio founded by developers who previously worked on the racing game <Burnout> series.

The game is characterized by combining the rugged, heavy mechanical aesthetics of <Star Wars> with the rough collisions and sense of speed from <Burnout>. Anti-gravity vehicles from the <Star Wars> universe — landspeeders, speeder bikes, ski speeders, and podracers — race across tracks, crashing into each other in 'takedown' battles.

Players can enjoy races through a campaign with roguelite elements, as well as scenario, arcade, and multiplayer modes.

If a powerful IP serves as a gateway to a game, genre-specific style adds distinctiveness to how that world is experienced. <Star Wars: Galactic Racer> translates the Star Wars universe into a racing game centered on speed and collisions, adding fresh fun to a familiar world.

Faithfully recreating the original universe while bringing out the genre's unique appeal — that is how IP-based games captivate players.
