Steam Next Fest 2025: Here and There

"The game with the most demos is the one most people hate?!"

The February edition of Steam Next Fest 2025 concluded a few days ago. This time, over 2,000 games from around the world competed fiercely, and "Mecha BREAK (Developer: Amazing Seasun Games)" was selected as the game with the most demos played at the February Next Fest.

Ironically, however, user reviews were "generally negative." 65% of reviews were negative, citing lengthy tutorials, live service elements, and an aggressive monetization model.

What's interesting is that 65% of all reviews were in Simplified Chinese, and the percentage of these was the same as the percentage of negative reviews... is that a coincidence?

With Chinese (Simplified) users on Steam recently approaching 50% of all Steam users, the influence of Chinese users is growing, but this could also be a greater burden for Chinese developers.

This game is a demo version with a lot of room for improvement, and the fact that many users have already played the demo is proof of high expectations for the game, so let's continue to watch.

GC News

We previously introduced an article about the Steam Next Fest 2025 February Edition, and we will also introduce <Darkest Days>, which took the number 1 spot on the Steam Wishlist with 120,000 items and was ranked #1 in 'Upcoming Games' at this Next Fest.

(GC also participated)

<Darkest Days> participated in the February edition of Steam Next Fest 2025 and conducted a global test. Strategically leveraging influencers, it achieved a high concurrent viewership on Twitch. With over 53,000 subscribers, we achieved Twitch Ranking #10 . The viewer response was also positive, and seeing it reach #1 on Steam's "Upcoming Games" listwas a very encouraging campaign for us.

It is said that over 120,000 users have added <Darkest Days> to their wishlists on Steam . The related article is attached below

If you're planning to attend Steam Next Fest in June or are considering a global promotion using Twitch, please contact us and GC will be there to help!

GC and Mobigames Sign MOU

GC has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Mobigames. Mobigames, a subsidiary of comprehensive media content group Mobidays, is a mobile advertising company specializing in connecting domestic and international mobile media and advertisers. Developers who have collaborated with Mobidays on advertising will likely already be familiar with the company.

We plan to actively support the successful entry of domestic game developers into the global market by combining the influence of GC's global influencer network and Mobigames' publishing capabilities, so we ask for your continued interest and support

Check out CHZZK streaming, now on ContentFlux!

ContentFlux's long-awaited CHZZK platform service is now available.

Now you can see who, what game, how much, and how they live streamed at CHZZK with ContentFlux!

I looked up streamers who played Monster Hunter Wilds, a popular game on CHZZK, from March 1st to 7th. It turns out that a whopping 11,343 streams were played over the course of seven days, making me realize just how popular Monster Hunter is.

Plus, popular streamers Han Dong-sook, Pungwolryang, and even members of Stella Live! All the influential streamers played. Watching Han Dong-sook, who averaged 13,059 viewers in a single stream, I was reminded of her influence.
