Hello again, this is GC's JH!

It's been a while since I've attended GDC, so I'll be able to greet you in person.


This year, I moved from San Jose to a city near San Francisco, and instead of staying in San Francisco during GDC, I commuted to the event via public transportation. Many people asked if there's public transportation in the US, and yes, there is. It's called BART (Bay Arena Rapid Transit), a subway and light rail system that operates in the San Francisco Bay Area.



This year's GDC was much quieter than usual. Normally, the hotel lobbies around Moscone Center would be bustling, but this year, it was easy to find a seat wherever we were. Many analysts attributed the continued layoffs in the gaming industry and the global economic downturn to this. The absence of the Korea Pavilion, a perennial fixture, was even more disappointing.

Anyway, my image of GDC was that it was the kickoff to the year's gaming events in beautiful San Francisco. Next year, I hope to see GDC regain its reputation, the economy recover, and the GDC venue bustling with activity.

I'll be speaking at GamesCom LatAm!

On April 30th , our CEO, Jeong-Hyeon, will be appearing as an official session speaker at GamesCom LatAm in São Paulo, Brazil .  The topic of this presentation is: 


"Interpreting Game Content with AI: Insights Provided by Artificial Intelligence"

(Harnessing AI to decode Gaming Content: AI-Powered Insights)


We'll share some fascinating stories about how AI can be used to analyze game content and derive insights.



This session will provide a glimpse into the future direction of AI-based game content analysis and the possibilities it holds. We hope you'll join us!

Fishtank, a new reality show that exploded in the US



There's a reality show that's all the rage in America right now. It's called Fishtank . Does it remind you of Big Brother or The Truman Show ? You're right. 


Fishtank is an interactive reality show created by American comedian Sam Hyde and his colleague, Jet Neptune . It features contestants living in isolated houses for six weeks, watched in real time by viewers. What makes it unique is that viewers can go beyond mere observation and actively participate, offering gifts and pranks. 


This unique format has been a huge hit, generating over $4 million in revenue in its first 18 months and growing explosively, reaching $1 million in monthly revenue during the season . Beyond a simple reality show, Fishtank has evolved into an interactive live streaming platform, forging a new path that crosses the boundaries of gaming, content, and community.

Check out SOOP streaming on ContentFlux


When it comes to game-related streaming platforms in Korea, SOOP is a name that can't be missed. And finally! SOOP integration is now available on ContentFlux.

With this, ContentFlux now supports all four major game streaming platforms in Korea: Twitch, YouTube, CHZZK, and SOOP! 

As expected, SOOP broadcasted StarCraft the most. Over the past week, SOOP alone hosted 2,006 streams, totaling nearly 10,000 hours. 


With a variety of content, including battles between influential streamer crews and StarCraft tournaments featuring both professional and amateur players, SOOP provides a wealth of entertainment for StarCraft fans.  

Here's a sneak peek at the soon-to-be-released 'Game Ranking' feature. 


What games are getting the most attention these days? We're preparing  a feature that many of you are curious about: Game Ranking . This feature allows you to see at a glance the top 20 games with the most content generated across the four major streaming platforms (Twitch, YouTube, Chzzk, and SOOP) over the past month .


According to recently compiled data,  InZoi , First Berserker: Kazan , and Path of Exile 2 have all appeared in the Top 20 on all four platforms!
